Last week with Sgin Ti Syniad we made coin sculptures and below is a mash-up video of the week.
As part of the project we are opening an Empty Shop with lots of community events.
Tîm Jaman
Exciting times for the Sgin Ti Syniad (JAMAN) Team. We’ve been getting to know each other, been shopping, decorated our room with christmas trimmings and talked lots about everyone’s relationship to money. We’ve also made our our own Marshmallow Challenge, and short films. Ultimately the Jaman Team is creating a social design project to bring smiles to people’s faces in Caernarfon. And I’m documenting everything along the way.
We’ve been designing games and playing lots to figure out what our Jaman Team enjoys, what makes them laugh, what holds their interests, what inspires them, and we’ve been sharing story’s of what they want to tell. All under Sgint’s theme – what is your relationship with money?

The challenge was make a 1 to 2 minute trailer for a fake movie of any genre you choose.

Sgin Ti Syniad
New projects, new adventures, new collaborators.
Sgin Ti Syniad – that’s the name of this community project, based around Sgint. On the project I’m the creative techie person and it’s all in the welsh language, so what better opportunity to improve my Welsh, especially with SaySomethinginWelsh!
The past two weeks we have been recruiting and working with our newly formed Creative Team, which is made up of 6 very cool people aged 16-19 from Peblig in Caernarfon. Bethan Marlow is directing and together with the Creative Team we are going to make a film, create a new Empty Shop, social design techie things around Caernarfon and much more. So far the Creative Team are at the beginning of training in film, editing, and acting and we are starting to know each other better and realise everyone’s involvement in the project.

Intro – Strangers 2 Documentary
I’m currently editing Strangers 2, a documentary about ‘the making of’ of an international production. Led by Mess Up the Mess, including collaborators from New Zealand, Hong Kong, and Australia. Here is the intro to give the young people on the project a taster of what the final piece will look like.
