The Printhaus holds a special place in my heart. The people are lovely and the vibe is always warm (thought it might actually be freezing in these cold winter days). From time to time the Printhaus holds a Snapped Up Market, opening their doors to the public. It’s members have stalls where they can sell their stuff and chat to people. It has a great sense of community and the event usually has a theme. This time around it is : dinosaurs!
Food, crafts, unqiue screenprints, and print your own shirts are my favourite reasons for going. Well, actually chatting to other artists is another great reason for going.
This is the second film made under the Make More Films unbrella. My interest in community and making documentaries/promos is continuing to grow. Make More Films creates cinematic documentaries. It’s about communtiy, local makers, and sustainable living across the globe. Follow us on twitter and like us on facebook.
This is the very first film under the umbrella of Make More Films. A few weeks ago my desire to make documentaries led me to become more active and involved in my community and find out what others are doing to enrich their neighborhoods.
At the end of last year their was a big buzz around Cardiff Street Food and I decided I wanted to film the event. Here is a little more background info on how it came about on the Roath Cardiff site. . I had a great time filming and chatting to all the various vendors. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was fab and I’m already looking forward to the next one of these

It was fantastic to film Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s visit to the Temple of Peace in Cardiff.
